Feedback for a previous IDIOT

I feel this workbook has genuine validity in work group situations! Great job and kudos to you. Additionally, I found the assumptions by the previous "reviewer" interesting to say the least. I hate to bash others, but sometimes people need to be held accountable for their actions and words... For instance, the reviewer comments were: "Early on she attempts to convince the reader that this country is no longer a melting pot. Her example is that our society is like her mother's vegetable soup. While her mother's soup has an overall flavor or "feeling," she can still taste the potatoes, the carrots the meat, the beans and all the other vegetables." My personnal comments....I feel the author of the manuscript adequately relates her soup example to a "current and valid" diversity example and trend... "the salad bowl." Every component of a salad (or Vegie soup) adds its own distinct flavor, however they don't "melt" or blend into the whole in order to be considerred valid in the recipie. My personal conclusion is that maybe the "reviewer" needs a bit of clarification because of his lack of understanding in "differences" or the value of diversity (differences in the big picture of making things work (and even BETTER). I would be glad to debate and discuss my personal and my other associates' examples/experiences as members and facilitators of senior enlisted military members in predominantly white-male organizations if you would like to hear the OTHER side of the spectrum. Additionlly, be careful when you are trying to play games & take pot-shots (personal attacks at folks)....."It really makes you wonder who edited this mess." Sorry, but it really makes me wonder who edited your own thoughts & mess.
