Straightforward enough. Paperbag puppets, shadow puppets, paper mache puppets...stage set up... how to perform a play. There are a few plays scripted, but also gives ideas on how to make up your own. Interesting book, not hard to follow, and all the ideas are doable for younger kids that have help or older kids working on their own. This is not a stand alone on the subject, but a good starting point.
