A book that even the "book haters" will enjoy reading

Kirby Piper is starting a new school year in the fourth grade. That's when and where he encounters books that are fatter and words that are longer. Kirby's Uncle send him a free spirited hamster named Hamlet to save Kirby from the anxiety of his predicament with the new books in general and reading them in particular. What ensues is a series of hair (and fur!) raising adventures in his school. Very highly recommended, especially for school and community library young reader collections, Hamlet Goes To School was written by retired teacher Carolyn Ashcraft as a chapter book that even the "book haters" will enjoy reading.
Great Book for Everyone!

This a delightful book for any age to read. I think it would be an especially fun book for a child that was not so enthusiastic about reading. I think it will hook them in and they won't want to put it down. It has short chapters, a larger print,is realistic and engaging. She writes about things that actually happen to kids! They will love it!! I told my husband and mother-in-law about it and they both want to read it, too!
All Children should read!

This is a wonderful children's book, but also a great book for adults to read. Hamlet is very intertaining and you just can't wait to see what he gets into next.. Hope there is a sequel in the near future. At last something for the whole family....
