This is a great book. It is very well written. It made Hagar, Sarah, Abraham, and other people seem more real to me. It tells where Hagar came from, and about her past. It talked about her emotions, her family, and her beliefs. Little by little, Hagar became alive to me. Although a lot of this is fiction, it fills in the gaps in a realistic way. The only downside is the cliffhanger ending. What happenes to Hagar living in this new caravan? Does she marry Simeon? We will never know. But, over all, it was a good book, and deserves 10 stars.
