an excellent book!

This book is an excellent resource for young people who are making decisions about what kind of values and habits they will establish. It would be great as a resource for junior high age through adult. The use of media is engaging as is the text and questions. It would be a great resource for mentoring or small group use.

For group

At my church we are using this book for a group of 20 year olds. Our generation is provoked by images, and really it is images that we remember. This book is potent, and not overspiritual. It is raw yet not foul. Bright yet not blinding. Sharp but not deadly. Powerful and peaceful. Love it.

life lessons as easy as it gets

Dr. Tim Elmore does an amazing job pointing out crucial ideas and topics in a very easy-to-read format. Each lesson focuses on an image that illustrates some point of leadership. What attracts me most to the Habitudes series is the fact that Elmore focuses mainly on integrity, which is something that the world definitely needs more of. I recommend this book to anyone and ESPECIALLY if you are leading some sort of group (business group, church group, worship team, college bible study, youth group). It says a lot of things that people need to hear.
