A visionary tour of Vancouver's "other side--the bars, coffee shops, strip clubs, dog salons, and other assorted entertainments and diversions in the heart of Lotusland.
I bought this book for my husband before our trip to Victoria. Before we left we went through alot of it and folded over pages for points of interest. This was a really useful book and gave alot of background on things that weren't the "tourist attractions". We enjoyed trying to get to as many of the places mentioned as possible. I would recommend getting books of a similar nature for any city you may be visiting.
