This book was made in 1950, so it is VERY old. The author also talks in a way that only a person with some gunsmithing xperience may understand, meaning this is not a good book if youre just now trying to get into gunsmithing.
Also, the few pictures included are mostly useless. E.g. he'll be talking about treating metal & then throw in random dimensions for a very old caliber
And just to reiterate, 90% of the things the author discusses is outdated and no longer applicable to most arms, including certain info. He does not discuss semi-auto rifles, except the M1 Garand and even then he does not go in depth.
Also, the print is very small so consider that too.
Overall, I wouldnt reccomend this book & the only reason I havent returned it yet is because the cost of shipping would take away most of my refund.
