Raised Guns

The bloody Boadley-Champifer feud had gone on for years, but on one hot morning it seemed as though it was about to come to an end--in the bloodiest battle of them all. This is not my favorite Haycox short novel, but it has its moments; and still, it is Ernest Haycox, and better than anything being published today.
