Great reading

This book tells the factual accounts of many of the stories of Texas outlaws and law enforcement men in a manner that is extremely well done. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in factual information. They are written in a manner that makes one want to keep reading until the end. Col. Askins was a great story teller and he keeps one's interest in this book.

A history perfect for any history collection strong in Texas or early Western history.

THE GUNFIGHTERS: TRUE TALES OF OUTLAWS, LAWMEN, AND INDIANS ON THE TEXAS FRONTIER tells of early Texans and comes from a U.S. Border Patrol agent and big-game hunter who brings hundreds of early Texans to life.
