The thrilling final volume in this official, licensed manga tie-in to the Gundam Seed animated TV series features giant fighting robots and a future war in space.
If you read this manga and focus on the artwork, it's a masterpiece. The art is the best it's been through the whole series. But if you focus on the story and the translation, it's a mess. Characters' names are reversed ("Nara Athha Uzumi" instead of "Uzuma Nara Athha"), a sound effect isn't translated, and periods are erased all over the place. Del Rey should have gotten better as it went along, and instead it got worse. The story is as bad as it's been--condensed and confusing. This volume's especially bad for storyline--it's as if someone called up the artist and said "GET IT DONE FAST!" So, I wish I could give this five stars like I did for the others, but I just can't! The story and translation are horrific enough to take a star away from my rating, I'm afraid.
