Guide to the JAVANESE Gamelan

The title of the book could have made it more clear that this is focused on the gamelan of Central Java, using as a model a gamelan from Solo that was made for the University of York. For people studying Central Javanese gamelan, this book is a useful reference to basic terminology, names of instruments, and some beginning musical techniques.
