Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau play the grumpies, John Gustafson and Max Goldman. Then there is Maria Ragetti (Sophia Loren). She has her eye on Chuck's Bait Shop. If she gets her hands on it, the bait shop will become, of course, an Italian restaurant.
There is a lot of action and overlaid plots. It is too cute for words.
