Great for Kids!

My elementary students love doing read-alouds from this book! To that one review complaining about the reading level being for children, it's hilarious that they're upset because that is exactly who this book is for. All the Great Illustrated Classics stories are intended for young readers, hence being listed under the CHILDREN'S BOOKS genre! The simple language is perfect for the intended audience.

Don't waste your time.

I suspect it's due to translation inadequacy, but this thing is written so childishly that a third grader could have written the stories. They are excessively brief and the writing is primitive. it was a great disappointment. That said, If a very small child who could barely read had it, They would probably like it.
