The Austrian explorer Friedrich Julius Bieber (1873-1924) sent from his journeys many picture postcards, especially to his wife. They are greetings from Europe and Africa, particularly from Ethiopia. Bieber's exciting way of life was inspired by his fascination for Africa, spirit for researcher and deep love for his family. His original impressions provide rich information-material of a world of the past.
