As A Man Thinketh Part II

I Like "Little Books". These books attempt to impart stimulating thoughts as random reflections on the passing scene. I always find lists like this attractive...maybe because they are easy to read. The "Great Little Book on the Universal Laws of Success" by Brian Tracy is a "Little Book" which assembles Mr. Tracy's universal laws for successful living. I have studied these laws before and it was nice to have them collected in one book. These principles are written like scientific laws which govern a person's prosperity and happiness. It could be considered an updated "As A Man Thinketh" because it provides much the same materials however where "As A Man Thinketh" is written as a poem, ULOS is as a text book. This does not take away from it in any way; I found its laws to be very enlightening. Topics such as Belief, Choice, Expectations, Habit, Optimism, Responsibility, Attention, Expediency and Desire are all written in thought-provoking laws. I have found this book not to be a self help guide, more of a book of instruction. Where a person once was unaware of these rules they can now either ignore them in pain or accept them and move toward enlightenment.
