A Perfect Tiding

When we travel, I always look for a local cookbook--one with recipes that represent the cuisine of the area, one with recipes that appear to be actually usable, and some other distinguishing feature, whether anecdotes, local history, artwork. This is a terrific book and the art work along makes it a great memory. Our son lives in Savannah, GA (stationed at HAAF)and recently married on Hilton Head Island...meaning driving back and forth along the May River Road and through Bluffton. I got this book for our daughters as a "souvenir" and all three of us have used the recipes and love the remembrance.
