A truly great book

In a world where a gallon of gas in LA costs $3.00 and lunch can run up to $20.00 for some slop I am amazed that I could get a book of this quality for a mere $8.00. Sure, the book was slightly used, but so is the Mona Lisa. This book delivers a wallop of a product mix, with many excellent pics of the greatest art works in the history of man, and you also get a nice overview of the artists lives. Throw in a dab of the technical aspects used to create these masterpieces and you get a $200 burger for less than ten bucks, truly one of the few bargains left on the planet. This book is an excellent overview of art history for the western world for the last four hundred years. You won't be disappointed should you buy it.
