If ever there was a book destined to become a movie, this has to be it!

"Grave Departure" is a page turner that kept me thinking and in the end forced me to examine my own decision making processes. Mitch Cleighmore is not only a person to whom anyone can relate, but also a guy anyone would be happy to call friend. "Grave Departure" is suspenseful, entertaining, and provocative, with a twist of Ballantine Ale ;~)
A smooth ride with enough curves to keep me alert

As a general rule, I am not a reader of fiction, but due to personal reasons, I found myself reading this book. What I found most enjoyable about the novel was the dialogue. The narrative style was also interesting in that it was 3rd person... yet not.To say the least, the book kept me up late for a more than a couple nights with only my own fatigue forcing me to put it down. The twists within the plot are very subtle and oftentimes the reader is left hanging as to what exactly is being twisted, but it creates good effect.Having sat through many movies of the detective/mystery genre, this book provided a very human side to the protagonist which was a breath of fresh air. The plot elements are familiar, but the read is delightful.
