We all start at the same place, the starting line. No matter the preparation that takes place before, every runner that runs or competes in a race starts at the same place, the starting line. The other line we all have in common is the finish line. Everyone must cross that finish line to complete the race. Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NIV) says, "It is not the fastest runner that always wins the race, and the stronger warrior does not always win the battle, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happened to them all." What you do in between the start and the finish line makes the difference in how you finish. This in-between is called the game changer or the race. This in-between the two lines is called life. In life, we do much better, are much more successful, and we win when we speak positive words. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:3 (KLV), "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." We are to be just like our Father. We are to shape our world positively with the word of God. In our era, several movements came into being where men and women of God were inspired by The Spirit of God to 'Name it and Claim It'. Others were moved to begin declaring a thing and watch it be established. Yet, others were moved by the 'Prosperity' message. All these moves are important and needed in the body of Christ; however, we need something concrete as well. Something that will jump-start our days, weeks, months, and years so we will have an arsenal to attack with when we as individuals are met with challenges contrary to the word. That arsenal is the word of God and how we use the word. We will be successful because we decree and declare God's word. One way to be successful when met with challenges is to operate and co-operate with Gods' word, using it line upon line, precept upon precept, a little here, and a little there. Studying to show that we are approved and rightly dividing the word of God's truth by His Spirit and through prayer is the best way to say a thing and watch it establish in our lives.
