Catching the Big One!!!

Grandpa's the star now!! Grandma Janet Mary has introduced Grandpa in her 3rd book of the Grandma Janet Mary's series. What a delight this book is with Grandpa sharing a day with his grandchild fishing!! The illustrations by Craig Pennington are so real to life that you feel that you are in the boat and on the water with the characters. My husband especially liked this book because he is a fisherman and hopes to spend time with our grandchildren fishing someday (first, we have to get some grandchildren). Grandma Janet Mary takes you through the whole special day and even when they catch the big one (Einstein) and decide to let him go for another day. Through her rhyme and humor, you will imagine yourself there with the child enjoying this special time together. At the end of each of Grandma Janet Mary's books, she has a "How To" page. In her first book, it was "How to make oatmeal cookies". The second book was "How to make a pretzel frame" and this one is "How to catch a Large Mouth Bass". Grandma Janet Mary's sense of humor and her obvious love of her grandchildren is felt in all of her books. I'm already looking forward to her next book - "Grandma's Treasure Chest". Grandpa's Fishin' Friend will be a great Father's Day present for the young and old. I've already purchased one for my husband so he will have it on the day he becomes a Grandfather.
