Beautiful

I first saw this book on a trip in Thailand. I was mesmerized by the story, even without the words in English (it was in the original German). When I saw that it was translated into English I was thrilled and immediately picked up a copy. This book has beautiful art with masterful layered storytelling that melds words and pictures together.

I love it!

The story is great and the illustrations are nice and funny. The subtle political message makes this book even greater. Highly recommended!
