I like the unintimidating format for my students: a very simple grammar explanation followed by enough exercises to reinforce the point, all neatly lined-up on one page. I have used these exercises to supplement those in the texts I was using, but I thing next year I'll try this book all alone.

The reviewd book has been in use for over 20 years. Does time make it useless, old fashion? Not at all. As a grammar support book, combined with texts and other material provides the ESL student with the necessary grammatical topics for him/her achieve grammatical proficiency.
