Grace and the Royal Law

With the Law of Moses being faulty in that it focused on Legalistic obedience and none could be saved by keeping the Law, God in His magnanimity, mercy and love promised and eventually replaced the Law of Moses with a better covenant which He established in Christ.
This better covenant, also known as Grace, presents to us a new way of serving and relating with God; a way of the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus whereby we cease to operate by legalistic hypocrisy but rather have the Law written on the tablets of our hearts and, obeyed as we walk in the Spirit.
Grace and the Royal Law overwhelmingly has presented that the act of obedience to God is no more a function of keeping 613 Laws, Commandments and Prophets of the Old Testament but simply by keeping only one law of vertical and horizontal love for God and our neighbour respectively which is called the Royal law or Jesus' new commandment. What a simple charge to a confused religious world! Holiness indeed has been made simple by love.
