Worthwhile reading

This book compares Texas politics to the other states and highlights the advantages and disadvantages of the system. The book is very concise but gives enough information. This is not a book for someone who wants ALL the details listed. It is more for someone who wants a general view of the way things are done in Texas politics; someone who wants to learn where Texas comes from and why things are done the way they are done. Texas is different to other states in many aspects. This book helps you understand this and put it into perspective. I really enjoyed reading it; you can always do your own research and expand on any topic you want to learn about. I definitely think the book is worth the price.
