One dog too many
T.P. is Jeff's dog. Jeff is T.P.'s boy. That's the way T.P. likes it. Life is pretty good -- until a stinky, thumping, yapping box turns up at the front door. Jeff's friend Mandy has given Jeff a chocolate Lab puppy. They name her Mocha, and everything changes for T.P. Mocha drives him nuts with her endless chattering and questions. On top of all that, everyone keeps telling him to "be nice to the puppy." If only things...

Goosed

The book I read was Goosed. The author is Bill Wallace and the number of pages is 125. The main character is a dog named T.P. and the setting is in the house and in the yard. I would give this book **** stars because it's not great, but good. I just love this book There was a dog named T.P and a cat named Cord and they were Jeff's responsibility. When Jeff's friend/girlfriend asked him if she can drop of a chocolate lab puppy and pick it up on Saturday. He said yes with out his parent's permission. Now scenes the cat and dog know they hope that the puppy will be going away from them as soon as possible. But then T.P. gets used to the puppy and ends up trying to rescue her. My favorite part was when T.P chased a deer and ending up getting into a fight with wolves. I like that part because you won't stop reading it until that part is over. I like this book because it's exiting. It really gets me going so I can't put the book down. I also like this novel because it has animals in it and I really, really truly love them. I would compare this book to a book called Fever Swamp. It is about these kids and they find a swamp. After the swamp they here howling out side their bedrooms. Just like Goosed, T.P notices howling too and then he finds the wolves.

Jonquil's Review

Jonquil By Bill Wallace Genre: Fiction Pages: 125 Age: 11 I read Goosed, by Bill Wallace and thought this book was really good. The main characters are T.P., the old dog that tells the story, Jeff, the owner of the dogs, Mocha, the new puppy, and Mandy, the innocent gift giver. This book takes place in present day America, on a lake in the middle of nowhere. Goosed is a story about how to learn to help each other, even when you are having a hard time liking each other. T. P. is an older dog that has had Jeff to himself all his life. All of sudden, Mandy gave a puppy, named Mocha, to Jeff. This left T.P. mad and sad all at the same time because now Jeff is taking less care of him and spending all his time with Mocha. T.P. wondered what would happen to all the fun he used to have with Jeff when they went bird hunting. But now he finds out it is his job to teach Mocha how to bird hunt. Together, T.P., Mocha, and Jeff began to bird hunt. One time, T.P. did know what kind of bird he was smelling, and with Mocha following closely behind, they were trying to sniff it out. When they were both surprised and thrown into a dangerous situation that would change their relationship forever. My favorite part is at the end. Because I can't give the ending away, all I can say, is that I really liked how their lives change.

the book Review

This book I'm am about to tell you about is called GOOSED by Bill Wallace. This is a spectacular nutmeg book I would say and most of the kids that I no that read it they liked it. Takes place at a boy named Jeff's. I would put this book is realistic fiction because of that a dog can be hyper and get you mad, but however it is fiction because there's a dog named TP telling the story. This book is kind of short so if you like short books but chapters this is your book. The most important people in this book are a puppy named Mocha and a dog named TP, and a boy named Jeff. TP teaches Mocha probably almost everything Mocha is not Jeff's dog TP is. Jeff is taking care of the mocha for his friend Mandy. Jeff does not like Mocha when he first gets her. Because she is to hyper. Later in the book he gets attached to her so he tries to get his parents to let him keep Mocha. I would say the best part in the book is probably when Jeff gets mad at Mocha for just having fun. I would say this part is the best because it was when he was in front of his parents trying to act nice to the dog even though he felt like hurting her. I would give this book 4 stars because it was really good. I would say this book was really good because of my favorite part and it was funny when mocha kept on getting hyper those are my reasons for giving it 4 stars. But it could have been better.

Goosed Book Review

Book Review- Goosed Name- John Liam Very Good This book, Goosed, by Bill Wallace is a very good fictional animal story. This story takes place in a house with a dog and with his owner, a boy named Jeff who has some problems with telling his parents things at the last minute. You see T.P. is a dog and he's always in a good mood even when he gets in trouble. T.P. got his name by causing a T.P. with toilet paper around the house, T.P. lives with a cat named Cord and Cord is a very sensitive cat because if someone tries to attack him, he scratches them like when T.P. tried to attack him, Cord gave T.P. a great scratch. T.P. always does something to make the mom and dad mad, like he scratches the window when he wants to show them something. But there's a problem, Jeff's friend Mandy Bowen had a liter of 6 pups. They sold 5 but they want Jeff to baby sit the last one when Mandy and her parents go on Spring break. Jeff is in big trouble because he said he'd take care of that last dog without, asking his parents. So now he's waited until the last minute to tell hi mama and daddy so they're furious with him because he told them on the day that Mandy was leaving. The Problem is that when the puppy gets over to the house T.P. feels like that puppy is taking his place in the family because Jeff loves that puppy instead of T.P. For example- after T.P. does his business in the snow Jeff only let that puppy in and T.P. had to keep scratching at the porch door for 5-10 minutes. That's why T.P. is feeling that that puppy is replacing him. Any way, one day when Jeff, Mandy, Mocha (The new puppy), and T.P. went to the park to play. Problem was that Mocha thought a goose was her ball, so she swam after it. And when she got to the goose the goose saw Mocha and tried to drown her. T.P. swam after Mocha when the goose was drowning her and when T.P. got to the goose; T.P. and the goose started a WWE smack down. A few minutes later T.P. defeated the goose and Mocha swam out of the water. When they got home T.P. started to like Mocha but she still kept asking him 300 questions at a time. So T.P. got used to living with Mocha but he still had to find out a way to shut her up. So she doesn't ask to many questions at a time. So if you read this story it's kind of funny and kind of scary.

I really liked this book!

I really liked this book! It's about a bird-dog (T.P.) who lives nicely with his owners. But when they decide to watch their friend's dog, Mocha, they get a little attached... I recommend this book! (Especially to kids who loves animals!)
