I adore this book!

Fortunately, so does my 3 year-old son, because we read it often. What a clever idea, showing what children might otherwise consider to be scary creatures to be just like little kids. They sing songs, read bedtime books, snuggle with their parents and play with cuddly toys. The illustrations are so cute (the baby swamp thing is the best!) that these things that go bump in the night end up looking like critters any kid would want to play with. I give this book frequently for birthdays, and it has always gotten rave reviews.
