Excellent alternative to Atkins

Carbs are your bodies major source of energy. In a world where dozens of low carb diet books are released and rehashed every year, it is a pleasure to hear someone tell us about "good carbs"....yes there really are good carbs and this book tells you where to find them and how they can help you lose weight and improve your health. My personal belief is that you must change your diet AND your lifestyle to get the Trim, Fit & Healthy body you are looking for. this book taught me so much!

i don't like to change recipes that have been in my family for generations...but when my doctor told me i needed to make some major changes to my diet, he recommended this book. it has been quite useful in helping me gain an understanding of how carbohydrates interact with the body! now i can control my hunger without leaving my comfort zone. i'm going to buy copies as gifts for all my family and friends!

This is the ideal book for those who would like the whole story on carbohydrates and the glycemic index! It is an excellent resource for diabetics and non-diabetics. It explains how to eat the right amount of carbohydrates for a healthy lifestyle! My whole outlook on diet and nutrition has changed thanks to this book!

After dealing with diabetes for years, this book has finally provided me with the knowledge I need to manage my blood glucose as close to normal as possible. I finally feel like I am controlling the disease and it is not controlling me!It is also great for non-diabetics...my whole family has read it and is following the concepts!
