Great fun

My 2 year old daughter loves this book. I had no idea she would love it this much, she has been reading this book almost daily since Christmas. I love how she can literally bring the characters to life as she is reading the story (the pieces can be taken out of the box and she can play along as we read the story). I will definitely be buying more of these, you cannot go wrong with this book.

Wonderful

I teach Kindergarten in Arkansas. I use this book in the retelling center. My kids love to act out the story. Plus, all of the mess fits neatly back inside.

It's a book and a toy

My daughter is very energetic and often too antsy to sit still while I read her a story book. She'll start flipping the pages, or pointing at the illustrations, or will simply wander off. She never really pays attention to what I'm reading to her.This book was the perfect solution for her restlessness. Behind the book is a small drawer that holds little play pieces (like the characters and other objects from the story) that go along with the book. When we read the story, she uses the pieces to play along. Then afterwards, she keeps retelling the story with the pieces. Hearing her retell the story over and over again lets me know that she is really paying attention when we read...finally!
