Gold Rush Bride Glitters!

Tinderbox, California 1849 What a treat to read! Kate Dennington is everything strong, determined and lovable. If only Will Crockett would open up his heart to let her in! This quick, easy and very enjoyable read is 5 stars all the way! Don't pass it up!

Debra Lee does it again!

Kate Dennington has begged, and borrowed to come to America from her native Ireland to collect her inheritance, a rundown general store in the gold rush mining town of Tinderbox, California. Having lost all that he owned to Kate's competitor, Eldrige Landerfelt, Will finds himself in desperate need of funds to escape the trapped out lands of California and book passage to the game rich wilds of Alaska. Accepting Kate's proposal might just be the solution to both their problems. Of course there is just one hitch to this business arrangement of their's, can Kate and Will keep their hearts in check and part company once they have earned enough money to buy their way out of Tinderbox?I found this to be another winner from author Debra Lee Brown. Miss Brown sure knows how to deliver a love story so powerful and moving it will stay with you for a long time after you have read it! I loved this book and you will too!

Great Read

This book has become one of my favorites. I could not put it down once I began reading. The characters were consistent from start to finish.I have read only one other book by Ms. Brown and it was very good also. But this is a must read.

Sparks fly in Tinderbox!

Debra Lee Brown ignites the California foothills with another wonderful romance. Kate the tenacious, newly orphaned Irish immigrant must find a husband or lose everything her father worked and died for. Will Crocket(no relation to Davy)the handsome trapper with mysterious past reluctantly agrees. Their marriage of convenience starts with indifference, warms up as two independent personalities clash and is quickly fanned into new torrid heights of passion. Call the fire department. Beautiful setting, interesting characters, great story, thanks Debra!
