A Great Book for Solar Beginners

This book will give you a basic understanding of how solar energy, the transmission and absorption of that energy works. It has the Authors example of his own solar project but not many details on it. Has some helpful facts for installing your own photo voltaic or thermal absorption systems. It has some history about the science. Overall a good book for non-engineers to start with.
