God offers us so much more than we can see. Arrington shows readers that we need a renewed imagination for our journey with God. We must see him with the eyes of our hearts and let him grow our vision for him as we seek him.
I fault Lael Arrington's intelligent insight and honesty for making me love this book so much. It challenges the reader to take their faith out of cultural context and to see our lives and our faith through the eyes of God. How do we live with the reality of who we are and the challenges we face and grasp that God is sovereign in the midst? What happens when we begin to view suffering or celebration or achievement or life through a God perspective? I review books every week for Christian Momlogic. Many of them I like, others I read to review, and occasionally I find one that I love and that challenges me to take it deeper. It's a lucky day when that happens. Godsight is one of those books.
