This book is truly one of the best books I have ever read. I have a somewhat busy schedule, but as soon as I had an open day, I sat down and read the remainder of the book I had left. That is how thrilling this book is! This book is so inspiring to me, and it really makes me consider what God wants me to do with my life. The main two ideas of this book are what McDowell (the author) calls "God's Universal Will" (for everyone) and "God's Specific Will" (for each person individually). McDowell uses scripture after scripture to logically show what God's Universal Will is for the following desires of teenagers: (Also the titles of the chapters in this book) 1.) Getting Into God's Plan for You 2.) I Want to Live Life to the Extreme 3.) I Want to Love and Be Loved 4.) I Want to Be Surrounded by God's Friends 5.) I Want a Meaningful Career 6.) I Want the Good Life 7.) I Want to Be Close to God 8.) I Want My Life to Matter I was just amazed at how McDowell kept me so interested in the idea of following God's Will in my life. There are many lists used in this book which I really appreciated because I felt called to take notes from this book, and these lists made that whole task a lot easier. This book is very biblically sound, but doesn't come across as a turn off to non believers. McDowell uses many stories of average people who didn't know God, but then found God through their circumstances. I highly recommend this book to any teen, especially those who don't God yet, to inspire their lives and transform their thinking, enabling them to have a better life!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Well, I'm not really done reading it, I'm halfway through the book, but so far, I really like the book! Everyone should read it, definetly. It talks about many different things. It's basically about the desires of the human heart (taken from a poll of church-going youth) and how God has a specific plan for you to experience each of them. I love this book so far!!!!
