A Must Have....A Must Have Again!

This devotional is such a daily reminder that prayer is simply the way we maintain a relationship with God. It's not about being wordy, needing to spend hours, or finding the perfect time. The message throughout the book is that God wants to hear from us and we need to talk to God every day, throughout the day, whenever and however we can. I misplaced my devotional and have been looking for it for a while. I just don't want to wait any longer to read and reread some of the inspirational messages that got me on track with my time in prayer before. So, I just ordered another copy. God's Little Devotional Book on Prayer is a keeper for me!

Focused and Real

A nice little devotional. Each devotional is written with a title stating the point, a Bible verse, and a short anecdote - usually about everyday people - illustrating the point. It's not a deeply theological devotional which requires an hour of thought. Rather, it has lessons that really help keep the basics of prayer and faith in mind without lots of noise. I keep it by my bedside and read one or two before going to sleep. After reading, I often find myself thinking, "Oh yeah. Even though there's a lot going on right now, it always comes down to a simple prayer to the Lord." I like the book's simplicity and focus.
