Practical devotional for young boys

My friend bought this book for her son and loved it, so I decided to give it a try. It is a very positive tool to apply biblical information to every day life as a young boy. I also don't mind that his younger sister may listen in once in a while. He has also been able to apply what he learned immediately to his typical school boy struggles and feel good about it. It is a great source for enforcing positive solutions to every day life. Highly recommended!

Great for kids!

I bought several of these devotional books for our counselors to use at camp. Prior to camp I gave one to my 11 year old son to see what he thought of it. He loved it! The counselors loved it. Great product. Kids can relate to it.

Bible Values

I really do like this book! My son is autistic so we have additional challenges. The format is a story title followed by a story that is REALISTIC and includes things that happen everyday to kids (examples: bullies being one and dealing with one, people who are critical of everything, lying, cheating, temptation, etc.) a Bible verse that directly relates to the story, and a "challenge" - YOU CAN DO IT which always summarizes the bible verse and story to bring it all together. My son wants me to read it every night! It has about 150 stories all told, and a nice concordance type reference in the back so if your child is having problems with faith for example, you can look to see what page to turn to for a story related to that. Really, this is my son's favorite book and mine too as we take turns reading it to each other. I make him read stories again for topics he is having problems with at the time so its handy that way too! :)
