Dr. Culpepper was my systematic theology professorin theological school. He became a mentor andfriend. His influence continues to this day. His autobiography is an inspirational story ofhow God called him to serve as a missionary-theologianin Japan. The book is honest and filled withvery personal stories. I've read the book three times. While I am glad the Lord used him in Japan, I'm so happyhe lead him back to the U.S. to teach. I was trulyblessed to be one of his students.I especially liked the two chapters on spiritual renewal. They add some personal context to his book on the Charismatic Movement.Again, the book is a blessing and you won't be disappointedby it.
