Leslie writes Lili's life like a novel - and its a novel life! Creating every character three dimensional and well researched she manages to spring moments to life and conjures scenes into creation. We start at the end at the beginning and then jump forward to see where it all begins and watch the foundation of Lili's life to the creature she becomes to her slow descent - eloquently woven in easy prose.
