GOD SPEAKS PRACTICAL SERIES SCHOOL AGE CURRICULUM ventures into a realm often seen as intimidating to those who work with children: the prophetic. Simply put, this curriculum is about learning to hear God's voice for other people and learning how to appropriately share those words of encouragement with others. A good friend both talks and listens. Jesus is a good friend to us. He listens to us when we pray, and He talks to us. He talks to us about what matters to Him. What matters most to Him? People. People matter to Him. If we will listen, He will talk to us about the people that are on His heart - the people that are all around us. This curriculum contains eleven weeks filled with a combination of short teachings and interactive activities that will help children practice hearing the voice of God for themselves. We all grow better at this through practice and we want to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. This curriculum contains a lot of "doing" - both in the lessons themselves and in the included Family Connection sheets. Love is emphasized throughout the lessons, as our ultimate goal is to build up the church. This is truly an EQUIPPING curriculum.
