Didn't realize how much Hurt I had until read this!

I bought this book over a year ago. But with attending law school and graduating and studying for the bar exam I never picked it up to read...UNTIL NOW. Man, I didn't realize how much I had suppressed over the years. I started reading this book and got into it. It has been a much needed. I realized that my destiny is just around the corner but I cannot be the person I once was, hurt and suffering. This book has been helping me to understand where I have been and what I must do to get through. God is always right there to help us through the hard part.
Overcome Trials and Tribulations

In the olden times the Lord spoke through his prophet Isaiah, "Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that she has served her term, that her penalty is paid, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins." (Isa 40:1-2 NRSV) Today the Lord is speaking through Jim Reeve, pastor of the Faith Community Church of West Covian, California, with the same message, "Comfort, O comfort my people, she has served her term and her penalty is paid, revive her to new life and hope." Pastor Reeve's word to troubled people is a ray of hope in a dark world, one that will help open the doors to let the Son shine brightly again on hearts that long for the light. "But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end." (Heb 3:13-14 NRSV) This is the message throughout the book and one that is very much needed today by everyone. Pastor Reeve's theology is a bit on the light side, he does not mention the Lord's command, "Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you." (John 5:14 NRSV) Nor does he place much stress on the cross that Jesus mentioned, "If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23 NRSV) Buy a copy of the book for yourself and one for a friend in need of comfort. You will be blessed.
