Still powerful and thought provoking

My Nutrition teacher read from this book at the beginning of every class. As a young nursing student in 1976, I was so inspired by each short message that I bought my own book. I still enjoy the messages as much, if not more now! It was my favorite part of Nutrition class!

God is No Fool

I was given this book in 1973 shortly after experiencing a spiritual renewal - I was mesmerized with this book, I could not put it down for months - I still have it on a table in my bedroom and it always brings me back to where I started. I highly recommend this to anyone who is "searching". I was 33 at that time and this book was better than a counselor, or therapy, it got to the root of my hard heart. I am so happy to find so many others who also love this little book. I wish someone would reprint it - I would buy a hundred to give to so many who need a "touch" from God.

Still Great after all these years!

This book was a gift during 1970 high school years! It has inspired myself and my family to a deeper relationship with our Father, God. We have used it as youth group leaders, in dramas and meditations. We, too, wish that there were more like this gem.

Still moves me after almost 30 years

When I first read this little book I could not put it down. It has been a one of a kind, powerful influence on my life for a long time. If you have a heart for God, try to get a copy of this book. I only wish that Lois Cheney would've written more. Does anyone know what happened to her? Her giftedness is missed greatly!

sets you to thinking

I first read this delightful short book of prose/poetry meditations in 1969 ... Ms Cheney has written a profound and piercing series of thought provoking "one pagers" ... I have quoted you often (with credits to your only book) in many messages in last 30 years... please Ms Cheney give us more of your insightful and creative thinking ... please write again. Many would benefit and our God would be pleased.

Simply the best

This is simply the best meditation book I have ever read. The author's thought provoking messages strike to the heart and make you not only think, but act. It is a shame that this book is out of print, as it is truly a powerful tool in the hand of a dedicated Christian.
