A BRILLIANT, WELL-TRAINED AND RESPECTED DOMINICAN PRIEST IN FRANCE PONDERS IN HIS OWN PERSON THE PSY

I only wish I had the preparation and brain to read this book to its fullest benefit, as James Joyce's novels, or the Holy Bible. This book is brilliant and opens to us the most profound questions about our One Holy Catholic and APostolic Church and its present divided state, as we find our Pilgrim mission to eschatalogical wholeness, wellness, courage and integrity. This brilliant French Dominican took into his own mind, heart, soul and psyche the contradicted hope and teachings of our Church and profoundly develops them to their fullest implications, with great genius and prayer seeking our way altogether to peace and unity within our triune God. You may find texts claiming falsely to deliver "Catholicism for Dummies" and dumbing down our deep and infinitely mystical Faith in Jesus Christ into empty and uncomprehended ritual words forcefully mumbled but unknown. This present work by the great Father Pohier may be retitled "Catholicism for those who seek the unattainable comprehension of our Faith." Quit your job, kiss your loved ones farewell, and take this book to a desert island, or mountain cave, or desert oasis, and live this book within your own heart and soul and mind and body, and you shall return a Catholic. A dangerous journey but all journeys are, if they are truly journeys, and this journey bears the promise of Eternal Life. We as a fragmented people perceive our infinite and omniscient and omnipresent Deity only in fragments. This book carefully considers and weighs these fragments to which we cling, and may bring us to a new understnading of wholeness, and to a perception of the infinite wonder of our God as immanent within our Catholic Church, if only we will read it.
