Book Overview

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - Diana Gabaldon returns with the "vast and sweeping" (The Washington Post) newest novel in the epic Outlander series.

America Is Being Born In This Book You Can Think This Is The Way It Could Have Been

. I Am About 2/3S My Way Through The Book, Diane Writes So Real, I.Love The Way Diane Presents The War. Often I Think This Is The Way It Could Have Been, Then There Is The Suffering Of The People If You Love Outlander You Need To Read This Book, Just Keep The Tissues Near You,

Disappointed, very scattered writing. No direction except to leave one hanging on for the next book.

This is a far different book than the first 6 or so in the series. It felt like books 7 and 8 which were half hearted and now 9 just feels like a mess of incidents and happenings pieced together around the revolution. Jamie and Claire felt flat, and thrown together. So disappointed. If the author wrote like this in the first book it would have never been published. It felt as though it was a chore to write and to read. She's lost the heart for Jamie and Claire and just wants the series to drone buzzing humming endlessly along until we just fall into a sleep reading them. I will not buy number 10. I will just have someone tell me the ending.
