A Beach Read

This trashy and fun page turner is a perfect beach read. A young Celt is captured by Romans and trained to be a star gladiator. Far less preachy and self-important than the overblown epic that Ridley Scott directed, but similar enoigh that Thomson should have gotten story credits.
