I am not going to talk abou the plot beace i am sure other people have wrote about it. I will say that i loved this book. It is funny and cute and it is an interesting plot. I recommend this book to anyone who loves vampires. Great in between book for a twilighter. this one is the second in the series .Definitly pick this one up! also pick up number one you will eas through this series.

I always knew cheerleaders were B@% & *^#!!!

In the third installment of Mancusi's Blood Coven Vampire series, Rayne is faced with her biggest challenge yet. As "the slayer", her newest task is to figure out why it is that the cheerleading squad is growling. In order to do so she must get close to the cheerleaders, and as ANY teenager knows, the only way to get close to a cheerleader is to BE a cheerleader! Rayne seeks out her sister Sunny's help in a "prep" makeover so that she can try out for the cheerleading squad in hopes of becoming one of their new members. From there she must figure out exactly where the growling is coming fro, and find a resolution. Mari Mancusi has created yet another fun adventure with Girls That Growl. The characters of Rayne and Sunny are hilarious and I love how they tend to use their "twin powers" to reverse their roles whenever it helps them out of a situation. They are such opposites, yet they always manage to pull it off. There is still a lot more that can be done with this series and I think Mancusi will go far with it. She is a very strong storyteller and has a unique writing technique. The story of Rayne and Sunny is fun for all ages, not just teenagers. Highly Recommended. When we first met Rayne McDonald, she was getting ready to become a vampire, only to have those dreams taken away from her when the guy who was supposed to transform her bit her twin sister instead. Then she discovered that her destiny wasn't to become a vampire but to slay the bad ones. So she then joined Slayer, Inc. to fulfill her destiny, only to have one of her missions bite back -- literally. And the vampire who bit her, Maverick, infected her with a virus, and the only way to be saved was for Jareth to change Rayne into a vampire. But now both are infected, and Rayne is on leave since Slayer, Inc. just can't ruin their image by having a vampire as one of their employees. The good thing is that Rayne and Jareth can stay in the sun. The bad news is, they are pretty much the weakest vampires out there, physically. Now back in school, Rayne thinks she doesn't have any problems to worry about. That is, until Slayer, Inc. decides to give Rayne another mission. Turns out that the star football player at Rayne's school, Mike Stevens, is missing, and the cheerleaders are the suspects, since it seems like they aren't just regular cheerleaders, since regular cheerleaders aren't usually werewolves, too. So now Slayer, Inc. wants Rayne to be a little less goth and a bit more preppy, and to try out for the cheerleading squad, which would makes this the worst mission EVER! Of course Rayne can't deny the mission, since she still has the nanovirus which Slayer, Inc. injected into her bloodstream, and if it were released, the tiny wood inside the virus would go straight to her heart. And Jareth, who is now able to stay in the sun, begins to spend more time at the beach, trying to go from pale to super tan. This is one story that's sure to keep you one your toes. Although fully satisfying, GIRLS THAT GROWL leaves you thirsty for more. Reviewed by: Randstostipher "tallnlankyrn" Nguyen
