great people whos story should be know

Before I read this book, I had never heard of Herb Score, Rocky Bleier, Charley Boswell, Don Klosterman, Floyd Layne, Charley Conerly, Y.A. Tittle Dan Gable, Willis Reed, and Den Venturi.Frank Gifford's insider perspective on sports enlightened me about these superstars of the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970's. The thing about this book that does not make it the standard biography, was how amazing all those all these guy were. I am not a big fan of football or golf or even wrestling, It did not matter- reading about winners in life is always entertaining. To be fair, when he got into some of the football stories, being unfamiliar with the jargon of the sport, I was a bit lost as to exactly what was going on.
