Although this book was written in an era when Compaq, HP, Novell, sgi, Lotus, etc. were still promising and "up-and-coming" companies (ie, a bit out-dated), the author made some very valid observations and conclusions on the reasons behind the rise-and-fall of IT companies. Funny how many of the things mentioned in the book are still true even today. It's a very easy read. A recommended read for anyone who are in the IT business, running their own companies, or most importantly, management of the companies mentioned in the book.
