A well written and illustrated Australian aboriginal legend

The Giant Devil Dingo is aa authentic Ausatralian aboroginal story of how men and dingos came to live together. While the story and illustrations are somewhat gory (two brothers spearing a giant dingo that has been sent to hunt them down and eat them) the book is not for every family, but the honesty of the story should be appreciated. Having read this book at the age of five or six I can honestly describe it as one of the most original and thought provoking books of memory. Truly worthwhile!
