Ben's ecstatic that April trusts him and wants his help. His plan is to seduce her, slowly build her up. And there are rules. One, when Ben calls no matter when, she's to come to him; two, discussions of family are out; and three, no underwear - and by the end of the week April will be cured. April has no doubts that Ben will succeed, but she's worried that she'll lose her heart all over again. Now this one's more like the Rhonda Nelson's I've come to love and enjoy. The pace of this one seemed to move along and April and Ben were absolutely great characters. Perhaps it was their history that made this story more compelling. There is no doubt that these two will get together, though it's fun taking that journey with them. I liked the emotion too. The love scenes were hot and I loved the fact that they didn't jump into bed right off the bat but slowly built up to it. Sensual romance at its best

With the Chicks in Charge series you know the chicks are in charge. April seems to have lost her big "o." But maybe it's not lost, it just takes the right man. Ben Hayes, the so-called "vagina whisperer", has the perfect touch. From his past relationship, he's never stopped thinking about April and when these two former loves come back together it's electric. Wow, what a story! I loved the interplay between April and Ben. Their past relationship came through vividly in the characters. This sensual novel turns up the heat and never lets go. I really felt connected to the characters and their romance. It was an awesome read. There was a subplot though, that I felt did nothing to enhance the relationship, and in fact, seemed set up the only and only obstacle to their relationship. Personally, I felt that April's mother made a bigger obstacle, but she seemed to fade away in light of this subplot. Not quite as strong, but the characters and the romance more than compensated for this slight bobble. A very good, sensual read.
