Book so nice, I bought it twice

This book has the best overview of special techniques (adding elastic, selecting colors, and weaving ends) and also excellent instructions for basic crochet. I bought one copy for my friend who taught me to crochet. She thoroughly enjoyed the book. A few days later, I bought another copy for myself. Patterns are cute. She has some innovative construction techniques. Highly recommended!

Afya Ibomu's designs fill a definite void in the crochet world. Her hats are fun and functional and all of her patterns can be created with multiple yarn and needle sizes giving the reader the chance to use up some stash yarn. The only complaint I have about this books is that some of the photography is pretty bad, but not bad enough to lose any stars.
