Get Into The Ark

"Get Into The Ark" serves as a sober warning to America lest she fall into the ruin of other countries. The author, Steve Farrar, believes that the problem lies with God's people who live no differently than non-Christians. Among the points covered include: 1. The cycle a country goes through before falling into ruin - birth, rapid expansion, conservation of gains made, moral decline, and finally, disintegration. 2. Examples of countries that enjoyed prosperity before falling into ruin. American definitely fits this model. 3. Some parallels between today and the time just before the Great Depression. Farrar uses several verses from the Books of Amos, Daniel, and Habakkuk to convincingly illustrate his points. A good and sobering read of what America is going through now. Consider this: the book was written in 2000 and look at what has happened in America since then. Looks like things are getting worse overall for America and will continue to do so. However, for the Christian who know Jesus Christ, our destinies are going to be much better!!!

I found that this book was very informative and helpful as to how to prepare for what is coming to America - judgment. I believe the author knows what he's talking about. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get ready for what's ahead.
