Gently colored and gentle story

This is a very sweet book about two mice who get married. The pictures are just right for children--gently colored and full of amazing detail. The story emphasizes the value of family. It also shows the importance of ingenuity when the mice take off in a balloon and need to find a new home.

A childhood favorite

This book is definately worth the trouble of finding. It was a childhood favorite of mine over ten years ago, and is still one of the best children's books I have ever read. George and Matilda get married and take up residence in a doll house. This chronicles their adventures and the arrival of their children on Christmas Eve/
